Best of 1965

I just returned from my first tout in Vietnam and I remember this story dearly . I don't think any major network would make this story today.

Nothing but Magoo 24/7

Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol was the first Christmas Cartoon made for nationwide broadcast..and still the BEST!

A Charlie Brown Christmas

The children doing the play at the end of this special is what makes it my favorite. Holding on to the reason for the season means so much to so many, especially when the gifts we can afford seem so small in comparison to what so many others are buying these days. Charlie Brown and the gang take the little and make it beautiful and embrace the true "gift" of the Christmas Season.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

I enjoyed "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" when I was a kid because it felt like something special instead of seeing "Rudolph" one more time. Plus, it was set in a German town and seemed vaguely historical.

The Year Without a Santa Claus

My hands-down animated Christmas favorite is The Year Without a Santa Claus because I can't resist the Heat Miser and the Snow Miser.

Gotta Be Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown wins hands down. Anyone suggesting anything different is a dunderhead.
