Boourns to this list

My two favourites aren't on this list. My definite favourite is called Homer's Phobia. It's the one where Homer thinks Bart is gay. My second favourite is called Weekend At Burnsies. It's the one where Homer has to smoke weed for his glaucoma.

Homer aka Mr.X

My favorite episode is when Homer becomes Mr.X who gossips on the "inter-net". He posts so much stuff that he has nothing left to post, so he makes up his own gossip. Homer gossips about something he shouldnt have made up and gets caught by some weird guys. He gets brought to an isle and gets drugged all the time. The rest of the episode you have to find out yourself.

Mountain of Madness

No one mentioned "Mountain of madness"! not necessarily my favorite (i've never even tried to pick a favorite.. how can i possibly choose?!), but it's definitely worth mentioning! "So what?!" "So buttons.", or "and it's all thanks to teamwork" "yeah, MY teamwork", and when they imagine each others armies.. great stuff. I mean, who doesn't love Mr. Burns? Especially mr burns and Homer together. Fantastic.

My Favourite Episode of 'The Simpsons'

I'd have to say that would be "The Old Man and the Lisa" (Season 8, 4F17), though there is a LOT to be said for the darkly witty "Kamp Krusty" (Season 4, 8F24). Then again, who can possibly doubt that "Last Exit to Springfield" (Season 4, 9F15) is the best of the best of them all?

Seriously?

Lisa's Substitute is easily the best episode. Bart Vs Martin Prince, Dustin Hoffman, Lisa's awakening, subsequent devastation and disillusion with her father, Homer coming through for all his kids in the end. Unquestionably my favourite episode.

Best Episode Ever

Homer at the Bat is probably the best earlier episode from The Simpsons, so funny on so many levels. I love when Mr. Burns tells Don Mattingly to get rid of his sideburns and the song at the end is great.

Black Widower

Sideshow Bob shows his darker side and gives his best to finally succeed. Proposing to Selma, and then plotting to murder her to have her money. Bart and Lisa figure him out and throw him back into custody.

Really?

How can you have a list like this and not include 22 Short Films about Springfield, You only Move Twice, or Lisa the Vegetarian? By not including these, the rest of the list has zero credibility.

Lisa's Wedding

For some reason, I find myself loving the episode 'Lisa's Wedding', because yes, it's funny, but it's also very Lisa like to fall for the guy that wouldn't like her family. (I'm left wondering who her true love is though...)

Mother Simpson

Mother Simpsons is absolutly perfect for me, it matches the emotional scenes (especially at the end) with great humour, as well as answering an important question.

Dont remember the name but

I dont remember the name of my favorite episode, but it was about homer getting a new job in a new town. He's new boss was a guy called Hank Scorpio, who turned out to be a super villain in the end... though homer didnt seem to notice.
—Guest Hank Scorpio

Bart Sells His Soul

Bart Sells His Soul is still probaly my fav, though its hard to pick just one. But since thats one of the few I can remember the title, Ill go with that. Its a funny, poignant and deals with spiritual issues in a way few sitcoms ever have. And even the "B" plot of Moe changing his bar into a family eatery is hilarious. Maybe the best episode written by Greg Daniels before he left to do King of the Hill.
