"I would like the thank Nancy for finding this episode for me. My mom works for a company where she is talking to chiropractors all day. I recently told her that there was a episode of The Simpsons where Homer was a chiropractor and used a trash can to fix people's back problems, but I couldn't rember the name of the episode so I asked Nancy the name of the episode so I could watch for it on TV. IT'S A FUNNY EPISODE!" - ASimpsonManiac@aol.com, Fan Review
Tennis the Menace
The Simpson family builds a tennis court. Meanwhile, Grampa Simpson receives an award from the Springfield Retirement Castle.
"The plot allowed us to see more secondary characters than usual. It also gave Springfield a sense of community that we sometimes don't get in recent seasons. Though the blatant use of guest stars has sweeps written all over it, the tennis stars were funny and able to make fun of themselves. Homer had some wonderful lines, too, such as, "Take your hands off me. They feel like salad tongs." - Nancy Basile, Guide Review

Simpson Safari

"This episode was as bad or worse than 'Homer vs. Dignity.' It was gimmicky, shlocky, and just not clever at all. It had the same spirit as a Brady Bunch reunion. The characters acted, well, out of character. The plot was completely lame. The episode would have been better if they would have followed the bag boy strike, with Homer as a mediator. Or, if they had done anything else with it!" - Nancy Basile, Guide Review
Trilogy of Error
In a "Run, Lola, Run" parody, a breakfast accident involving Marge's kitchen knife and Homer's thumb is seen through the eyes of individual family members. While Homer and Marge make a mad dash for the hospital, Lisa takes her linguistic robot to the Springfield science fair and Bart runs afoul of Fat Tony's illegal fireworks ring.
"This episode was brilliant! It used many, many clever jokes and one-liners, just like the old days. I laughed all three times Ned said, "Son of a diddly!" Each story was funny in itself. Plus, each story used secondary characters that we just don't see enough of any more. And I loved the way all three stories intertwined and resolved one another. More of these, please!" - Nancy Basile, Guide Review"
I'm Goin' to Praiseland
When Ned discovers that one of Maude's goals was to build a Bible-themed amusement park, he reunites with Rachel in order to fulfill her dream. But an accident dupes the public into believing that the park was the site of a miracle. Ned is forced to decide between revealing the truth versus enjoying his increased profits. Shawn Colvin guest stars as Rachel Jordan.
"This episode was part touching, part creepy and part hysterical. Homer was his old self: His heart was in the right place, but he screwed up everything. I felt for Ned, but at the same time grimaced when he touched Maude's imprint on the bed. My only real complaint is the very end. The last few episodes have had typical sitcom wrap-up lines." - Nancy Basile, Guide Review

"What a great episode! In the time-honored tradition of '22 Short Stories' and the 'Treehouse of Horrors' series, tonight's segmented episode hit a huge home run in my book. It was chock full of priceless funnies to boot. From the easily-killed buffalo to the 'Old Timee' speak in the Huck Finn bit, I won't soon forget this year's hilarious finale. (Eat snacky smores.)" - Olderenglish, Fan Review
