Carolyn Lawrence: Yes. There are times when people recognize me from my on-camera work, or from the behind the scenes segments on the video releases.
NB: What actor has been your favorite to work with so
far?
Carolyn Lawrence: Tim Conway. He's funny, bright, kind and very
professional. I also enjoyed working with Michael
Madsen. Michael and I worked together on Vampires
Anonymous, and because he is so intense, most people
were either a little bit afraid of him, or intimidated
by him. While working on Vampires, I decided my goal
would be to make Michael laugh. It took all day, but I
did it.
NB: Who would you love to work with?
Carolyn Lawrence: There are so many talented directors, actors, writers
and producers that I would love to have the
opportunity to work with. Honestly, the most
rewarding thing for me is working along side people
who I can learn from. When you look at it that way,
working with most people is an exciting and rewarding
adventure, but off the top of my head, I'd love to be
Adam Sandler's love interest, and I would love to act
in a Tim Burton film.
NB: What would your dream role be?
Carolyn Lawrence: I don't really have a "dream role." I've always wanted
to play someone in an action film like Uma Thurman in
Kill Bill. Truthfully, I just want to keep creating
and growing in every single aspect of my life.
NB: What other careers would you like to try?
Carolyn Lawrence: The funny thing is, when I want to try something, I
do! I'm actively involved in pursuing my other
interests. I recently started a clothing line with a
business partner and, I'm in the process of setting up
a seminar/lecture event with one of America's leading
experts in sustainable living. I have a passion for
real estate and architecture and I am in the middle of
planning an addition to my house. When the time is
right, I would also like to invest in a property with
my sister and brother-in-law.
NB: Do you have any projects in the works you'd like
to tell us about?
Carolyn Lawrence: I'm currently producing an independent film titled,
the Dog and Pony Show. I have two upcoming animated
series, but I can't share them just yet. I'll get
back to you when they are further along. (One of them was Moral Orel, which is now on Adult Swim.)
