Like Family Guy, American Dad has a lot of Seth MacFarlane in every episode. Yes, he voices two of the major characters, but there is plenty of talent to be found in the other cast members. Learn more about the careers of each member of the American Dad cast.

Seth MacFarlane is hot in Hollywood, both in feature films and on TV, in cartoons he created. Recently he was the voice of the star teddy bear in Ted, which MacFarlane also wrote and directed. He also voices Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin and Brian on Family Guy, as well as Tim the Bear on The Cleveland Show. MacFarlane shows off his singing skills on his CD titled "Words Are Better Than Music."

Wendy Schaal has had a range of comedic and dramatic roles in both film and television. Her film credits include Small Soldiers, opposite Kirsten Dunst and Denis Leary; and The 'Burbs, opposite Tom Hanks. Schaal's television credits include roles on Six Feet Under, Good Grief, Nearly Departed, Fantasy Island and It's a Living.

Rachael MacFarlane is not just the younger sister of the aforementioned Seth MacFarlane, but also one of the most accomplished voice-over actresses in Hollywood today. In addition to American Dad, she provides the voices for various characters on , Mindy and Eris on The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and #362 on Codename: Kids Next Door. Rachael MacFarlane is also following her brother's lead in releasing her own CD, "Hayley Sings," which shows off her pipes. She has also played Barbra Streisand, Christina Aguilera, Madonna and Celine Dion on other animated series.

Scott Grimes: Steve Smith

Scott Grimes has had roles on numerous television series, such as Will on Party of Five and Dr. Morris on the long-running drama ER. In 2001, Grimes starred as Malarkey in HBO's Band of Brothers. Grimes' film credits include Crimson Tide, Ridley Scott's Robin Hood and Mystery, Alaska, opposite Russell Crowe. In 2005, Grimes released the album "Livin' on the Run." The single, "Sunset Blvd.," became a Top 20 hit on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart.

Dee Bradley Baker: Klaus

Over the past two decades, Dee Bradley Baker has built an extraordinary voice-over career with his amazing acting range and his uncanny ability to create realistic creature sounds. In addition to American Dad, Baker's current projects include , in which he voices Tarrlok, Pabu and Nala; Ben 10: Alien Force, giving voice to the super aliens; and Adventure Time, voicing Cinnamon Bun. Baker also provides the sounds of Perry the Platypus in , as well as voicing Captain Rex and all the clones in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. His creature vocalizations are featured in many top video games, including Batman: Arkham City, Portal 2, World of Warcraft, Diablo 3, Left 4 Dead 2, the Gears of War series and Halo.

Curtis Armstrong: Snot

Curtis Armstrong became famous in the '80s with scene-stealing turns in Risky Business, with Tom Cruise, and Revenge of the Nerds, as Dudley "Booger" Dawson. (Get it? He used to play "Booger" and now he plays "Snot.") Armstrong has worked steadily in Hollywood for decades, now becoming a veteran voice-over actor. Currently he voices the cynical Dan in The Hub's , and can be heard as Robot in Nickelodeon's Robot and Monster. He has guest-starred in live-action TV series, such as Hot in Cleveland, The Closer and Boston Legal. He also starred in recent films, like Akeelah and the Bee and Ray.

Mike Barker: Terry Bates

Mike Barker is the writer and producer of American Dad, having little experience in voice-over acting. However, not only does he play Terry Bates on American Dad, but also Buff Guy, Dilbert and other small characters on Family Guy.
