Guide Review - 'Rocko's Modern Life: Season One'
Rocko is a wallaby who is having trouble adjusting to small town life. He is joined by Spunky, his dog, and his friend Heffer, who is a cow. Mr. and Mrs. Bighead are his annoying neighbors. Rocko's Modern Life was created by Joe Murray.
In season one, Rocko must deal with grown-up problems like the DMV, the carnival, health clubs, vacuum cleaners, bath time and trash day.
Rocko's Modern Life frequently has been compared to Ren and Stimpy, a cartoon that debuted on Nickelodeon around the same time and also featured animals friends and gross-out humor.
Voices in Rocko's Modern Life are Carlos Alazraqui (Fairly OddParents) as Rocko, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Heffer, Charles Adler (Cow and Chicken) as Ed Bighead, Mr. Lawrence (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Filburt Turtle and Linda Wallem as Beverly Bighead.
