The Life and Times of Tim premiered on HBO in September 2008. The cartoon grew from an animated short titled Angry Unpaid Hooker by creator Steve Dildarian. Following is an episode guide for the HBO cartoon.

Season 1 (2008)

Tim tries to explain to his girlfriend, and her parents, why there is a prostitute in his apartment; Rodney spins a wild yarn about his bachelor party to Tim.

Tim reluctantly agrees to pose as the Hispanic Vice President of the company for his boss; Time meets a lecherous priest at his girlfriend's sister's wedding.

"Senior Prom, Tim Fights an Old Man"

Tim takes his boss's daughter to her senior prom in order to get a promotion; Tim tries to give up his seat on the bus to an elderly man, and pays for it.

"Mad Dog Tim, Monday Night Confession"

Tim earns the nickname "Mad Dog" after a particularly nasty cleaning task; while at a baptism, one of Tim's family members confesses something extremely embarrassing.

The IT guy at work gets revenge on Tim by convincing the boss Tim is sleeping with the boss's wife; Amy gives Tim a pass to sleep with someone after her own drunken indiscretion.

"Tim's Beard, Unjustly Neglected Drama"
Tim finds that growing a post-breakup beard can have unexpected workplace consequences, like losing your job to a homeless man; Tim suffers through a bad play in order to help Stu score some pot.

"The Comeback Sermon, Atlantic City"
Looking for a place to crash, Tim ends up with the Priest, who's about to give his first sermon since being suspended for having a girlfriend; Tim, Stu and Rodney run into a stripper version of Amy while playing hooky in Atlantic City.

"Legend of the Month, Marie's Dead Husband"
A firefighter claims she saved Tim's life. Tim gets sucked into a coworker's lies.

"The Girl Scout Incident, Rodney Has a Wife?"
Tim hatches a moneymaking plan for a boy-scout troop. Rodney suspects his wife is having an affair with one of his favorite hockey players.

"Pharmaceutical Sales Rep Gone Wild, Amy's Got a Gun
When a lack of insurance forces Tim to see a doctor in New Jersey, he gets a ride back to New York with a self-medicating pharmaceutical sales representative. Amy and Tim have different reactions to a home intrusion.

"The Salty Jazz, Jews Love to Laugh"
The Boss goes to a jazz club with Tim, Stu and Rodney. Amy's colleague comes to regret his purchase of Tim's favorite bar.

"Nagging Blonde, Tim and the Elephant"
Tim spends a day at the races and is inspired by Amy. Tim gets on an elephant trainer's nerves during a circus' stop in New York.

"Debbie's Mom, The Escape Artist"
Debbie reads Tim's palm and tells him about his future on Staten Island. An escape artist may be out of a job after Tim attends a corporate retreat in Coney Island.

"Personality Disorder, Pong"
Tim's Halloween costume draws unexpected reactions. Stu uses his newly discovered table-tennis prowess to meet women.

"London Calling; Novelist"
In the second-season finale, Tim's job is in jeopardy during a visit by Omnicorp's British chairman. A chance encounter with a novelist (voice of Philip Baker Hall) encourages Tim to pursue his dream of being an author. Other voices include Alfred Molina and Wendie Malick.
