Seasons ten and eleven of The Simpsons brought an onslaught of guest stars to Springfield. These seasons perhaps mark the beginning of the show's dependence on guest star stunts, though some of the casting is inspired and welcome, such as the appearances of Mark Hamill and Stephen Hawking.
