The Simpsons episode "Behind the Music" is a dead-on parody of VH1's Behind the Music, even using the same narrator, Jim Forbes. "Behind the Laughter" aired at the end of season eleven. It tells the story of the rise and fall of the Simpson family on television. It all began with Homer's TV show idea, My Funny Family. The show took off and success, riches and fame came and went for all of them.
