2003 Twentieth Century Fox
The Simpsons will air its 300th episode on Sunday, February 16, 2003. The episode, titled "Barting Over," is a definite comment on our times. In the show, Bart discovers he starred in commercials as a baby, and Homer spent every dime he earned. In true form of The Simpsons, Bart divorces Homer and Marge.

Now that Fox has contracted The Simpsons for two more seasons, the show is destined to become television's longest-running sitcom. There are many happenings to celebrate this rare landmark. Check out the following to join the festivities.

The Simpsons Sweepstakes
Fans have a chance to win a Limited Edition 300th Episode Skateboard, a 300th Episode T-Shirt, Limited Edition Series 1 Bendable Figurines and a 300th Episode Simpsons Poster, courtesy of Fox.

The Simpsons Guest Stars

Inside the Actors Studio
James Lipton hosted the cast of The Simpsons on Inside the Actors Studio. Dan Castellaneta, Nancy Cartwright, Julie Kavner, Harry Shearer, Hank Azaria and Yeardley Smith discussed their careers and achievements. Lipton also interviewed their alter egos, and the cast willingly played along.

USA Today
USA Today featured a two-page spread on The Simpsons. The article included fun lists, such as "18 steps to your television set" which details how an episode is created. There are also lists for guest stars, Harvard alums and top couch gags.

Rolling Stone
Rolling Stone featured three different covers of The Simpsons, which featured best rock moments and an interview with Matt Groening.

Nominated for Three Writer's Guild Awards
