Experience:
Mike reads a lot -- comic books, Faulkner, Buffy the Vampire Slayer slash fiction, etc. -- and it would be a mistake to say that he watches only a little TV (favorites including Desperate Housewives, Brak, CSI, the new Batman animated show, House and, the king of them all, The Simpsons). In addition to much creative writing, Mike has also been a technical writer.
Education:
Mike graduated from Mt. Lebanon High School in Mt. Lebanon, PA, then went to college at West Virginia Wesleyan. He eventually decided to transfer to Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, where he graduated with a double major in English and Philosophy. He went on to earn a master's degree in English from West Virginia University.
