Synopsis: Harvey Birdman is the token superhero in a prestigious law firm. He's working like crazy to move ahead, but while everyone else gets real cases, Harvey is stuck with the cartoon litigation.
Harvey Birdman: Despite his huge wings and cowl, Harvey is pretty much a normal guy. With wings and a cowl. And a worsted wool suit. He's an aging B-list superhero with bad knees who became a so-so attorney at Sebben & Sebben. Sometimes, after a long day of litigation, Harvey will stop by The Birdcage, a local watering hole, for a few pops and a song or two.
Phil Ken Sebben: Phil Ken Sebben is the paranoid managing partner at Sebben & Sebben. Sebben keeps a watchful eye on Harvey Birdman. He's paranoid and wears an eye patch.
Avenger: Avenger is Harvey's winged companion from his days as a superhero. Now Avenger helps with the filing and interrogation of clients.
Peanut: Peanut is Harvey's scheming legal secretary. He's very snarky.
Clients: There's never a shortage of big-name clients for Harvey Birdman, like Shaggy and Scooby, Dr. Benton Quest, Speed Buggy, The Jetsons, Grape Ape, Secret Squirrel, the father/son combo of Doggie Daddy and Augie Doggie, and Boo Boo.
Creators: Michael Ouweleen and Erik Richter are the creators, writers and executive producers of Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. Ouweleen and Richter worked together in Cartoon Network's on-air department, where they won numerous awards for the animation network's promotions, advertising and packaging. Prior to joining Cartoon Network, Ouweleen produced cartoons on a freelance basis, including an animated pilot called The Voles. Richter worked as a freelance writer for Kids WB.
Background: Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law was among the first original series in Adult Swim's debut line-up. The show is (obviously) based on characters created by William Hanna Joseph Barbera. Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law made its series debut in September 2001.
