The Bottom Line

The Simpsons Kiss & Tell DVD is one of FOX's pre-release, mini-episodes discs. This should be nothing new to any fan. This time around we find a few episodes that deal with the relationship of Marge and Homer and the roller coaster ride they've been on. There's a nice little touch on the behind-the-scenes storyboard development.

Description

Guide Review - 'The Simpsons' Kiss & Tell DVD

For less than the price of a couple roses, you can be the owner of four episodes of The Simpsons legacy in lovely DVD format. The theme is the story of Homer's and Marge's surviving love. The four episodes on the disc are all from 2002 through 2004. They include "Natural Born Kissers," "Large Marge," "Three Gays of the Condo" and "The Way We Weren't."

"Three Gays of the Condo" is probably the funniest of the foursome. Homer learns Marge intended to leave him when they were dating after a unfortunate night. Armed with this knowledge, Homer decides to strike out on his own, eventually finding solace with other men who, you know, like men, too, but in that other way. "Weird Al" Yankovic, Kids In the Hall alumnus Scott Thompson and Ben Schatz, a well-known drag queen, make special voice appearances.

In "Natural Born Kissers," Homer and Marge find that the risk of getting caught while "rocking the kasbah" spices up their normally mundane love life.

If it's superficial things you're looking for, then I suggest you watch the episode "Large Marge," where Marge accidentally gets Pam Anderson-ed while going in for a tummy tuck.

The last episode leaves viewers scratching their heads. Marge and Homer discover they where originally long lost lovers from summer camp.
