Clara's appearance is purposely very similar to Ariel from Little Mermaid or Belle from Beauty and the Beast. Like all animated Disney characters, she is drawn without a black outline.
Shielded from the world by her father, the King, she's never left the castle walls, until now.
Her mother died when Clara was only an infant. The King was driving the carriage "under the influence" and killed her mother. He later re-married and Clara's stepmother cursed Clara's vagina, causing it to turn into a giant tentacled monster called Octopussoir. Clara has since had surgery to remove the beast, now having a vagina she calls Vajoana.
Initially Clara was very helpless and saw the other housemates as servants. As time has passed, she is overcoming her personality flaws with the help of Foxxy Love and the other housemates. She's very religious, often seen praying. And though she supports her gay friend Xandir, she's very homophobic.
On Drawn Together, Clara has kissed another woman, stripped for her father, welcomed her "special" cousin Bleh to the house and fought gay marriage.
