'American Dad' Cast

Who Does What Voice?

By

Like Family Guy, American Dad has a lot of Seth MacFarlane in every episode. Yes, he voices two of the major characters, but there is plenty of talent to be found in the other cast members. Learn more about the careers of each member of the American Dad cast.

American Dad Characters: Stan Smith, Roger

Where You've Heard Him Before: Nearly everywhere. Seth MacFarlane is hot in Hollywood, both in feature films and on TV, in cartoons he created. Recently he was the voice of the star teddy bear in Ted, which MacFarlane also wrote and directed. He also voices Peter Griffin, Stewie Griffin and Brian on Family Guy, as well as Tim the Bear (what is it with bears?) on The Cleveland Show. He is frequently heard as a variety of characters, including playing himself, on Robot Chicken. MacFarlane shows off his singing skills on his CD titled "Words Are Better Than Music."

Rachael MacFarlane is also following her brother's lead in releasing her own CD, "Hayley Sings," which shows off her pipes. She also has sung on many animated series as the voices of Barbra Streisand, Christina Aguilera, Madonna and Celine Dion, among others.

Currently he voices the cynical Dan in The Hub's Dan Vs., and can be heard as Robot in Nickelodeon's Robot and Monster.
