'Mora Orel':
Moral Orel is a stop-motion animated cartoon about Orel, an 11 year-old boy who loves church. His unbridled enthusiasm for piousness and his misinterpretation of religious morals often lead to disaastrous results, including self-mutilation, grave robbing and crack addiction. But no matter how much trouble he gets in, his reverence always keeps him cheery.
Orel Poppington:
Orel Poppington is the main character on
Moral Orel. He's 11 years-old and loves going to church. Though he applies the church's lessons too literally, he still means well.
Clay Poppington:
Clay Poppington is Orel's father on
Moral Orel. Though Clay prefers the Old Testament way of disciplining and solving problems, he loves High Balls and drinks them often.
Bloberta Poppington:
Bloberta Poppington is Orel's mother on
Moral Orel. Bloberta is a throwback to the post-WW II era. She loves cleaning the house and everything about homemaking, so much so that she frequently neglects her children.
Shapey Puppington:
Shapey Puppington is Orel's little brother on
Moral Orel. Shapey is far too attached to his mother. Being detached from her makes him throw fits and tantrums. Basically, he's a brat.
Reverend Putty:
Reverend Putty is the minister at Orel's church in Moralton. Reverend Putty is a bitter virgin, who sometimes vents his spleen during his sermons. He's lonely and sad, but Orel looks up to him anyway.

Moral Orel premiered in December, 2005 with a holiday special.
Moral Orel became part of Adult Swim in January, 2006.

Late Night with Conan O'Brien and the acclaimed sketch comedy series
