Gentle Giant Studios is putting out the first series of Bust-Ups. These four scenes from "The Simpsons" are a lot of fun to put together and to look at. At only a few inches tall, they might get lost in your "Simpsons" collection at home, but they would stand out in any office or Halloween display.

Guide Review - "The Simpsons" Bust-Ups Series 1 Set
Gentle Giant Studios has produced mini bust model kits from "The Simpsons." In this first wave, fans can get four individually packaged Bust-Ups scenes from "Treehouse of Horror" episodes. Each Bust-Up comes in a coffin-shaped box to complete the spooky Halloween effect.
The idea behind Bust-Ups is that you can build your own collectible. This way, the toy company can focus on duplicating pieces, not whole figures, which helps keep the likenesses looking as good as the prototype.
This first "Simpsons" series of Bust-Ups includes Bart the Raven (with Homer in his reading chair,) Count Burns rising from his coffin, Devil Flanders wielding fire and a pitchfork and Kang playing with Alien Maggie.
These are great scenes to start with. I would have liked to have seen a witchy Marge, or even Lisa with her tooth science experiment, but you can't have everything. It's a shame, also, that they are only a few inches high. But perhaps that makes them even more collectible.
