Cartoon Network
Premise: Fond of beer and caught in a world of espionage and love, 12 oz. Mouse unknowingly delights in odd jobs. And anything he does usually involves some gunplay.
Characters: Mouse Fitzgerald, a drunk and a criminal mouse. Skillet, a cool chinchilla sidekick. Shark, the softspoken boss who can't stay propped up. Others show up occasionally, such as the peanut-shaped, spaced-out cop, the rectangular-shaped businessman and a couple of chicks.
Creator: Matt Maiellaro is one of the reasons Adult Swim prospers. He created Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Squidbillies. He's also written for Sealab 2021 and Space Ghost: Coast to Coast. Maiellaro also provides the voice of Mouse himself.

In the behind-the-scenes clips at the Adult Swim web site, Maiellaro says he literally grabs a sheet of paper from a nearby printer, draws something, scans it, and hands it off to an animator to make things move. Talk about production values!

Theme Song: Nine Pound Hammer provides the theme song to 12 oz. Mouse, titled, cleverly enough, "Show Open." It's a rock song heavy on the electric guitar. You can download the MP3 for the 12 oz. Mouse theme song at Adult Swim's web site.
Background: 12 oz. Mouse is an original cartoon made for Adult Swim. It premiered October 16, 2005.
