Reviewer: Big Daddy Kain
Rating: 4 (5 = excellent, 1 = poor)
Favorite Part: Homer's new relationship with Lisa.
Least Favorite Part: Crayon in the brain idea.
Comments: In this episode Homer discovers he has a crayon lodged in his brain. When doctors remove it Homer's IQ level shoots way up. But being smart isolates Homer and he loses all his friends, but he gains a newfound relationship with his daughter. So finally Homer decides to have the crayon put back in to return him to his old self, losing his relationship with Lisa. A good episode.

Reviewer: Nancy Martin Basile
Rating: 4 (5 = excellent, 1 = poor)
Favorite Part: "Damn you, ebay!"
Least Favorite Part: Shoving crayons up Homer's nose. Eww!
Comments: I really enjoyed this episode. It stuck to the storyline and didn't go way off track. I was surprised to find Homer even funnier as a genius. I loved the excessive use of pop cultural references, too, such as Japanimation, smoking, pipe bombs and planned parenthood, ebay, and more that I can't remember. Also, I thought the jokes were clever, just like the old days.
The only thing I had trouble swallowing was that Moe is suddenly an unlicensed physician. That was the perfect opportunity for ol' Dr. Nick to pop into the show and they wasted it. Still, I really like this episode.
