Favorite Part: When Comic Book Guy says, "Mr. X. Shall I cross the final frontier?"
Least Favorite Part: When Rod Flanders says, "Mommy?"
Comments: I loved the satire of the Internet, but occasionally it seemed like a joke was pulled out of no where in a desparate attempt to be "clever". I enjoyed the retro-cool-James-Bond look of the island. And I was happy to see Mr. Burns in the beginning of the episode being his usual self (so thin and frail he's blown away by the bug fogger). Hans Moleman also made a wonderful, brief appearance under Moe's floor. Those are the subtle, ensemble touches I love most. On the other hand, I felt that Lisa and Bart were shoe-horned into the episode. This episode was hit and miss for me.

Favorite Part: A lot of old school elements.
Least Favorite Part: The out-of-this-world whacky story.
Comments: I'm glad to see that in season 12 The Simpsons are kind of going back to it's old roots. There were many old school moments in here, like the appearence of Hans Moleman, or the weak fragile Mr. Burns we call came to know and love. However the story line was bizarre, even more this time then usual. An okay episode, but a little out of the ordinary for my taste.

Favorite Part: The psychedelic island.
Least Favorite Part: None, really.
Comments: This was a wonderfully crazy episode and the Prisoner references were just dead on. The plot was funny and the visuals were original and psychedelic. It's nice to see the writers pushing the envelope from time to time. The joke with Rod saying "Mommy" was a little sick, but a few tougher jokes here and there are always welcome.
