"Now, I think the writers have gotten tired of the 'heart' thing. It's like somebody said, 'Well, we've won the Emmy nearly every year. Let's put the Simpsons on coast and concentrate on the new cartoon.' Have you noticed that Futurama has all the heart now? I don't watch the new Simpsons any more."

| Anthony: | This guy is a ****head. The Simpsons will always be the BEST cartoon in the WORLD!! |
| Mr Loncey Mills: | I believe that one of the more repellent aspects of the more recent Simpsons episodes is that there is too much Homer in the episodes and too many "Homer-centric" episodes. The stupidity required to write a Homer episode seems to have rubbed off on the writers judging from the number of times I have been in rooms full of people with little laughter during these shows. |
| david hazuda: | That is kinda true but no matter what, the Simpsons still kick ass. |
| Theresa: | The Simpsons have been on for a long time. Unfortunately, the stories won't be as fresh as they have been. It's possible that Matt Groening is putting most of his energy into his new show (Futurama) with new characters, plots, and settings. It is sad, but no show can stay on television forever. It is possible that the show is just in a down slump, like it was a couple of years ago (in my opinion). Who knows what will happen? Only time will tell. As for me, I will still continue to watch The Simpsons until the day it goes off the air. |
| Disgruntled Aussie Fan: | I think that that person who posted that message is a bozo. The Simpsons is as great as ever in my opinion. |
