"The Simpsons" Season Three DVD Collection puts the first two releases to shame. One reason is because third season boasts some of the funniest "Simpsons" episodes, such as "Colonel Homer," "Homer Alone," "Flaming Moe's," "Like Father, Like Clown" and "Stark Raving Dad."
But it's the bonus features that put this DVD set above the others. Fans will finally hear outtakes by the main cast members, and guest stars like Ken Griffey Jr. and Darryl Strawberry. The cast also recorded commentary for select episodes. There are interactive extras, commercials and Easter eggs.
My only gripe is that there isn't any footage of the cast as they record episodes or of table readings. Storyboards are nice, but behind-the-scenes stuff would be great.
