Personally, I can't wait to hear Ben Stiller's Texas accent. Here's the rundown.
Prime Minister Tony Blair, stage and screen actress Glenn Close, Jennifer Garner ("Daredevil"), legendary comedian Jerry Lewis, famed author J.K. Rowling, Sir Ian McKellan ("X-Men 2"), documentarian Michael Moore and Simon Cowell ("American Idol") are among the upcoming guest voices on "The Simpsons."
Legendary comedian Jerry Lewis lends his voice to Professor Frink, Sr. in "The Simpsons" Halloween trilogy, "Treehouse of Horror XIV." Garner and boxing champion Oscar De La Hoya, playing themselves, also stir up tricks and treats in the annual "ghoultide" special.
Get ready for a wild ride; because the season gets off to mad start with guest voice Close reprising her role as Mother Simpson in the season premiere episode "My Mother The Carjacker." On the lam for years, Homer's shady Mom returns to Springfield only to have the police catch up to her once and for all. Desperate not lose her again, Homer busts her out of jail by taking control of the prison bus she's traveling in.
Tally ho! The Simpsons are off to England and find they are not quite fit-for- the-Queen in "The Regina Monologues." Upon arrival at Heathrow airport, the Simpsons are welcomed by Prime Minister Tony Blair, guest-starring as himself. While having a smashing good time across the pond, the Simpsons run into Rowling, McKellan and Marriott, providing their own voices. Unfortunately Homer also runs into the Queen in her royal coach. Cheeri D'oh! Meanwhile, Grampa Simpson pines for a British chippy named Edwina, guest star Jane Leeves, who he met when he was stationed there in 1943.
Other guest voices include documentarian Moore, Mr. T and the late Robert Stack as themselves, and Jackie Mason returns as Rabbi Krustofsky. Later in the season, Cowell lends his voice to a brutally honest elementary school admissions screener.
Brad Pitt, Ben Stiller, Christina Applegate, the first "American Idol" winner Kelly Clarkson, Melissa Etheridge, Laura Dern, Gene Simmons from KISS, Fred Willard, Jamie Kennedy and the band Sum 41 and are among some of the guest voices this season on "King of the Hill". Additionally, country music stars Trace Adkins, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Deanna Carter and Travis Tritt will all appear in a special country-themed Christmas episode.
