Guide Review - "Futurama" Vol. 2 DVD
"Futurama" is a series that never received the praise, or ratings, it deserved. This set of DVDs from the second season is a testament to its witty, bawdy and relevant humor.
From the start, the menus are fun and futuristic with sound effects and movement. From there you can select to watch one hysterical episode after the other, or enjoy clever commentary on every single episode.
The amount of extras on this "Futurama" DVD is astounding. You can watch deleted scenes (which are rare in animated shows,) storyboards, get Easter eggs, and so much more. The "sponsor" clips and video game trailers are "must see."
I only gave this DVD 4.5 stars because I would like to see interviews or behind-the-scenes footage of the cast. Otherwise, bravo.
