"Family Guy" fans mourned when the show was cancelled. Now we can rejoice! The first two seasons of "Family Guy" will be released on DVD April 15, 2003. Following is the press release for the "Family Guy" DVD boxed set.

The animated television series "Newsday" exclaims is "lightning-fast and delightfully twisted!" arrives on DVD April 15 from Fox Home Entertainment. "Family Guy" Volume One DVD Collection features the entire first and second seasons with all 28 episodes (1999-2000) from the FOX Television Network hit series, plus added bonus material including commentary on eight episodes. Join the Griffin family - Peter, Lois, Chris, Meg and Stewie - for hours of dysfunctional fun. Pre-book is March 19, 2003.

Heading up the eclectic household of "Family Guy" Peter Griffin, a big, boisterous, lovable oaf who isn't afraid to say what's on his freakin' mind -- usually the wrong thing at exactly the wrong time. He lives in Quahog, Rhode Island with his wife, Lois, their three children -- Chris, Meg and Stewie, a brilliant, sadistic baby bent on destroying the world. And, don't forget his well-spoken, cynical best friend, Brian, the family dog. Executive producer/creator Seth MacFarlane, has the distinction of being the youngest person to be an executive producer.

The talented voice cast includes: Seth MacFarlane (as Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Stewie Griffin and more,) Alex Borstein (as Lois Griffin,) Seth Green (as Chris Griffin,) Mila Kunis (as Megan Griffin 2000-2002,) Butch Hartman (as Jonathan Weed,) Josh Peck (as Charlie,) Patrick Warburton (as Joe Swanson,) Adam West (as Mayor Adam West 2000-2002) and Jennifer Tilly (as Bonnie Swanson.)
