With Cartoon Network The Force Is
Monday October 6, 2008
Cartoon Network is reporting that Star Wars: The Clone Wars scored as the most-watched series premiere in the network's history, according to preliminary data from Nielsen Media Research. The one-hour new series premiere also reigned as the #1
program from in the 9:00 p.m. hour among all major kids networks, earning triple-digit increases compared to the same time period last year. Not really a surprise. Friday night is a great night for geeking out on TV (remember when X-Files was on Friday night? I loved that), and who doesn't want to see some Jedi kicking butt 3-D style? Friday September 19, 2008
Now that we're approaching the beginning of the animated TV season, I thought we should pause and remember the fallen ones, those cartoons that were so good, but so underrated, that they were nixed before the rest of the TV-watching world could catch on. Here, then, is my list of cartoons that were canceled too soon.

This Week's Animated TV Schedule
Wednesday September 17, 2008
Lots of fun cartoons to watch before the new season premieres next week. On Comedy Central, catch a long block of Futurama next Monday, as well as controversial South Park episodes, such as "Bloody Mary." Adult Swim brought back Frisky Dingo and one of my favorites, 12 oz. Mouse. Look for new episodes of The Drinky Crow Show, Moral Orel and others soon. Then Sunday night, Fox is airing a mini-marathon of The Simpsons, after American Dad kicks off the night at 7:00 p.m. Plus, see Family Guy's "Blue Harvest" episodes again.
