In 1993, Tim Burton brought his flip-flopped holiday idea to life in The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack Skellington, king of Halloweentown, catches a glimpse of Christmas Town and tries to insert himself into the snowy landscape to horrible effect. What isn't horrible is this magical stop-motion animation film, full of catchy, clever music, a touching story and endearing (though gruesome) characters. Since its premiere, The Nightmare Before Christmas has become a Disney classic, as well as a film that is aired during both the Halloween and Christmas season. Watch this frothy, goth-y masterpiece tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET on Disney XD.
