Wow, the power of Neil Patrick Harris knows no boundaries. Not only can he resurrect from the dead in A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, but he can also grab Emmy love for characters who were once relegated to the B story in a feature film. Namely, The Penguins of Madagascar won the Emmy award for Outstanding Animated Program, which was announced at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Saturday. The cartoon, which is a spin-off from the very successful Madagascar movies from DreamWorks Animation, picked up the award for "The Return of the Revenge of Dr. Blowhole," which guest-starred NPH.
Cue the "wah wah waaaaaah" music because I successfully predicted zero of the Emmy award winners for animated TV.

- Outstanding Animated Progam: Predicted Winner Bob's Burgers; Actual Winner The Penguins of Madagascar
- Short-Format Animated Program: Predicted Winner Adventure Time; Actual Winner Regular Show (which I am thrilled about, because I like the easy-going, non-creepy vibe of Regular Show over Adventure Time)
- Voice-Over Performance: Predicted Winner Rob Riggle as Noel in Disney Prep & Landing: Naughty Vs. Nice; Actual Winner Maurice LaMarche in Futurama "The Silence Of The Clamps ." (His agent needs to be on the phone this morning to get LaMarche a raise because he's won two years in a row.)
