FX has been in the forefront of networks with quality TV shows for several years, with hits like Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me and now American Horror Story. After Archer premiered three seasons ago, it stepped into the arena of animated comedy. Now FX is building on that cartoon's success by pairing it with Unsupervised on Thursday nights. Unsupervised is at the opposite end of the spectrum from Archer in terms of the income bracket of the characters, the down home setting and subtle humor.
