Good-bye, Michael Jackson

Friday June 26, 2009
Michael JacksonMichael Jackson was one of the first celebrity guest stars on The Simpsons. In season three, he voiced John Jay Smith, a mental patient who is convinced he is Michael Jackson. Due to a contractual agreement with his recording company, Jackson could not be credited during the episode, titled "Stark Raving Dad." Knowing this tidbit quickly became a fan's badge of honor.

Sadly, Michael Jackson died yesterday. Regardless of anything else that happened in his life, he was a very talented man who created his own music, his own art, his own style in this world. Rest in peace, Michael Jackson.
