Creative Arts Emmy Winners
Sunday September 14, 2008
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences held the Creative Arts ceremony on Saturday. South Park took home an Emmy for "Imaginationland" in the hour-long category, while The Simpsons won its 10th Emmy award for "Eternal Moonshine of the Simpson Mind." Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends and Creature Comforts nabbed awards for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation. Sadly, Robot Chicken's Seth Green (pictured left at the ceremony) went home empty-handed. It's a privilege just to be nominated, right? The Simpsons continues to ride on its reputation, though the show hasnt been Emmy worthy in at least 5 years. Im not really a fan of South Park, so I guess I would vote for Family Guys’ Blue Harvest. It was probaly the best episode of an uneven season. And I hope King of the Hill wins, though I actually like Robot Chicken, but I figure this might be KOTHs last chance at an Emmy, since I dont know how much is left in their tank.
