King of the Hill was recently, quietly, renewed for a thirteenth season on Fox. According to Variety.com, the renewal hinged on the return of creator Mike Judge. So far, Fox has only ordered thirteen new episodes. King of the Hill has received short orders from Fox in previous seasons.
