Writer's Strike Ends; Fox Cartoons Not Affected

Good news, everyone! The Writer's Guild of America strike didn't affect Fox's primetime cartoons whatsoever. I contacted Fox, thinking that episodes for next season might be affected because animated shows work months in advance. But Mark Lipps, Vice President of Network Distribution at Fox Broadcasting Company, says, "The strike had no effect on the animated series. Production takes place months in advance. We will be fine for this season and next." Hopefully, Fox cartoons will rope in new fans thanks to the deluge of recent re-runs and possible hiccups in the coming schedule.
