(1) Cliff says:

The consensus amongst the Scientific community is that Global Warming does exist. The debate now rests on the impact and the cause. Even Republicans acknowledge Global Warming as Global Climate Change.

(7) rolibear says:

This episode repeats republican spin (echoed by the main stream media) of the dumbest kind, namely that Gore is wooden,a lunatic, egocentrical … the South Park makers prove that they can be more infantile then funny. Re. manbearpig=global warning: did Exxon underwrite this show? This sinks down to the level of Mallard Fillmore.

(8) denny says:

Mallard Fillmore? One of our former presidents was a duck?

Well, I’ve saved the day. The boys are alive, I’ve killed MBP, and everyone is super stoked on me, even if they don’t know it.

(11) the REAL ManBearPig says:

Did somebody accuse the South Park Creators of being infantile? SERIOUSLY?! I would have never imagined after the episode with the singing piece of poo or the one where a towel gets high.
Seriously, anybody who has done historical research to the temperature of the earth realized that there are periods of warming an cooling. If there wasn’t, we either would never have had an Ice Age or we would still be in it.

(12) the truth says:

Rolibear is a real braniac. It’s DBs like him and Cliff that have kept us from drilling for our own oil and creating more refineries the last 10 years. Thanks for the $3 per gallon gas douches.

(13) ManBearPig says:

Hey, I am real. It’s global warming that is zany. The planet’s heating and cooling is largely caused by solar activity, but I am real. I am ManBearPig. I am serial?

April 28, 2006 at 1:12 am
(14) hello money says:

this is just a comment to “the real manbearpig” yeah dude all scientists agree that there ahv been periods of cooling and warming over time but the problem with what is happening now is that (global climate change)is the rate at which it is happening. Previously animals and the environment not to mention humans were able to adapt to these changing climate conditions becasue of the period which that happened over, what we are observing now are rapid climate changes that do not give living things enough time to adapt to!

(15) hello monkey says:

oh yeah AND SOUTH PARK ROCKS!!!!!!

April 28, 2006 at 1:31 am
(16) Al Gore says:

I cannot beleive that south park would insult me like that! there are more important things to write about than attacking my character…and if I said that there really was a manbearpig then there really was one because I am not one who would make up such an extreme story to make freinds or have every one super stoked when I defeath the manbearpig! And whoever wrote this clearly was not a good math student– “half man, half bear and half pig” oh my jilly jumpers! you had my entire family laughing at me… I’m just super pissed off!

April 28, 2006 at 12:40 pm
(17) totally serial says:

Hey this Global warming is really happening, I’m totally serial!!

April 28, 2006 at 3:12 pm
(18) Scott says:

I laughed my a$$ off at the Manbearpig episode. And although I enjoyed Gore’s portrayal as the tree hugger he is, fighting every phantom cause he can dream up, I thought the “fake treasure” thing was the funniest. I just knew when he was eating that gold that it would end up being fake. LOL

April 28, 2006 at 6:17 pm
(19) Ben says:

Global warming, eh? If it is real, which I hope it isn’t (even though it probably is), no one’s going to care about it until all the pole ice caps melt and major metropolitan cities are underwater.
Anyway, I wish Matt Stone and Trey Parker weren’t so blatantly republican. They didn’t even bash on George Bush in Cartoon Wars.

–Too bad cold fusion never worked out.–

(20) harald says:

Reading some of the comments – especially from “real manbearpig” and “truth” – it becomes more and more obvious: some people, not only Parker and Stone, DESERVE Bush as a president … they will still ridicule Gore, even when Iraq becomes a radical Shiite state like Iran (Gore warned prior to the Iraq war in his commonwealth club speech and was one of the few getting it right), when the US dollar will be weaker then the Peso due to the federal and trade deficit (he warned in the deabates about GWBs tax cuts/fiscal policy) and when climate change will have messed up the Gulf stream and world climate (funny how some guys who can barely express their “thoughts” think they can argue against scientific consensus with homegrown logic). Al Gore was and is proven right, but a lot of people are unable to notice due to cerebral phimosis.

(21) WTF says:

Excuse me, Mr. Gore. But don’t act like you didn’t deserve that lampoon for your Presidental Camphaign. Because you know as well, as I do. All elections come to a combonation of 3 legiment results:a, REAL VOTES by Voters, b, pushed votes for parties or candidates within the system of the soverign area. c, Fake votes induced by each candiate and it’s party, click, and sponsers.

Since the republican party is already known, especailly around here. To re-draw party lines to cut the Democrats and other minorites racists or political into near oblivain.

That and other actions in Flordia, by both your party and the Republican party. If you want to aruge with me you can.

It will be a waste of time, because I do have a disconitued book about the topic. That was censored by the State goverment here, because it implicatied a Senator. It’s(for all the folks playing at home.)”The Betrayl of America” by Vincent Bugliosi(he even got sued, and he’s a seasoned lawyer and names all of the voting statues in the book!).

I’m sorry if you didn’t even remotely like the episode Mr. Gore, but the point of it is. That many politicans do use “trivial” issues like abortion, and gay marriage to push people into it. Like the politicans in the North East terroritiories are known for using that tatic, hence MBP. If you didn’t get. That’s okay, but Americans are tried of just being screwed every single way these days. Heck, P!nk has a song called “Dear Mr. President” on her new CD. You should check it out.

(22) BRBI B says:

“I’m super seriel!” Love this quote as Gore was on Opera while running for Pres. Opera asked Gore what his favorite cereal was and he said, “Opera.” Which is not a cereal or a seriel but a series. So, Gore is a moron – and although this episode was a little weird and trying – I hate Gore and love South Park.
